Sable Hide

Camp

Our thoughts

The Sable Sleepover Hide is situated approximately 10km from Phalaborwa Gate in Kruger National Park. It is very basic accommodation but a great experience. Booking in advance is a must. Although they provide a torch, having your own might come in handy. We were quite excited to stay at Sable Hide – it’s an incredibly unique experience. The sounds of wildlife at night reinforced that we were in the midst of their habitat and the sense of solitude made it a memorable experience overall. We had anticipated that the waterhole would be smaller however, the sunset and treefrogs were music for our souls.

What’s hot
